As far as I can tell, if you want to make reproduction Victorian era clothing (1860-1900ish) Truly Victorian patterns are your best bet. Their patterns are widely lauded as authentic and easy to fit to any body type.

I have some sort of delusion that I will in fact make a full Victorian gown (probably natural form) at some point, so I've collected quite a number of TV patterns. This page is intended to provide reviews and pictures as well as general information about using TV patterns.
