In Febuary of 2006 Mark De Smet ran the Queen of Spades parlor LARP which is published by Shifting Forest Storyworks. He ran the game several times, but the first run was in Madison. I was lucky enough to get to play and my boyfriend took a number of amusing photos (though sadly not one of him dressed up in his south american drug lord costume, heh).
Because Mark was playing the main NPC, he called the LARP the King of Spades. He also made some alterations to the characters and wrote some extra characters, just in case we died. Sadly, we were not blood thirsty enough and we never got to see his additional characters in play.
All of these pictures were taken by Alan De Smet. He kindly allowed me to put them online them but he retains all rights to them.
