"Found redemption, the street signs bearing my name"
Ben took this photo for me a rather long time ago. I ran across it again while I was looking over his Europe gallery this evening. It still amuses me, and not just because I really like the song bearing the appropriate lyric. :)
Comments:Oi! A captcha on your comment page. Your made-by-a-sadist comment page. This very one. Which is less than a quarter the width of my browser window, apparently because it was made by a sadist who just looooves scrolling to read an entire paragraph. Blogger, go jump in a lake. Yeah, now, before the ice completely thaws. Yup. Definitely before the ice thaws. You bastard. 3/4 of my screen width (and way more than the total area) is wasted-by-an-idiot whitespace, and now a good 5% of the comment field has a scrollbar in it. Seriously, what idiot dreamed this up? A comment window capriciously restricted to some tiny fraction of my screen width, and with a height set as a number of lines, so when I change font size, it scales in only one dimension? Insanity!
Oh, and what I actually came to say was glad you like the photo. I wondered why a bunch of people looked it all of a sudden.
Oh, great. The comments display at full width. It's just the comment entry window that's maddeningly miniaturized.Post a Comment
