Green Sharpie is the Red Swingline of My Life...
... Well, not really but it sounds much more dramatic.
So I've been trying to make a set of dice for Shadowrun. I made one set already, where I painted the pips on the d6 with miniatures paint. I don't really want to do that again. Just painting the ones and twos took me hours.
For the second set of dice I decided to try using Sharpie markers on the pips, since that seemed like it might be a bit easier. I planned to use red for the ones (since they can cause botches) and green for the twos, threes, and fours (since they do not mark a hit/success and the dice are green). That would leave the white fives and sixes really obvious (and allow me to do less work!).
I had a green Sharpie to use, but it vanished out of our marker cup last week. I was rather annoyed. I went out today and bought a variety pack of colored Sharpies and was all excited that I would be able to finish the dice. When I got home I discovered much to my annoyance that the green Sharpie, just out of the package, was almost out of ink! Argh!
I just want to finish one damn project. Is that so much to ask?
