Things you can see on a random night

It snowed for most of the afternoon. Only about two or three inches stuck to my car by the time I went out to get dinner. After the sun went down, it got mistier and mistier, until around 11 pm I could hardly see the tree across the parking lot. It reminded me of some sort of mirage of a fairy land through a veil of mist.

The pictures I took turned out pretty well, but I had to brace my elbows in the snow to get the camera to cooperate.
