Reading for V-day

There are some good things about being a graduate student. I have health care. I get paid (not too badly). I get to take interesting and challenging classes...

Having to read six papers (10 to 11 pages each) on Valentines day is not one of those good things.

You poor girl! Do what I did last year and postpone V-Day. It's only one day out of the year and there's always this weekend. Hell, I postponed my anniversary because we couldn't celebrate it proper.

Sadly I think pretty much everything is going to be postponed until after May. My life is currently a giant ball of homework and panic... and grading is also shoved in there somewhere.
